The Headliner For The January 27 Event Will Be Going Dark, An Energized, Heavy Rock Threesome Of College Of Rock Scholars Whose Music Has Been Featured On Area Rock Radio Stations WDHA-FM And WRAT-FM.
Filed under HintsFeb 26Stage Left At Chill, a concert venue located at 312 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, will present live performances from a selection of new bands that are made of students from School of Rock Montclair. The show will occur on Friday, Jan twenty-seven at 5:30 p.m.
“School of Rock Montclair doesn’t just offer a revolutionary way for our scholars to learn, enjoy, and perform music, it is also a social scene where young musicians can meet, develop their sound, and form their own bands,” says Matt Sandoski, owner of College of Rock Montclair. “Our musicians connect to other scholars who share their tastes and vision, and they use our teaching staff of pro working musicians as a resource for ideas, feedback, and guidance.”
The headliner for the Jan twenty-seven event will be Going Dark, an active, heavy rock threesome of College of Rock scholars whose music has been featured on area rock radio stations WDHA-FM and WRAT-FM. The band is made of Alex Fogg (15, drums), L.J. Militello (14, guitar), and Oliver Shaw (twelve, bass and vocals), and produced by Grammy-winner John Ginty, former music director for College of Rock Montclair. Going Dark has opened for teen sensations Massively Rush at 6 Flags in Jackson, NJ and mythical rocker Sebastian Bach at Irving Piazza, in New York. Their debut CD “Play Your Game” will be given to all visitors at their Chill performance.
Also featured on the bill are GNGR, a Caldwell-based band featuring School of Rock musicians Garrett Bell (vocals and guitar), Jake Lefkowitz (lead guitar), Jason Inguagiato (guitar), Raffaele Chiovaro (bass), Michael Berry (keyboard), and Aidan O’Connor (drums). With inspiration ranging from Led Zeppelin and Lynryd Skynrd to Guns ‘n’ Roses and the Foo Wrestlers, GNGR has been gigging constantly in the Essex County area at holidays, events, and locations over the last year.
Opening the show will be Holographic Jellyfish, a Montclair-based quartet of School of Rock students that mixes alternative, progressive, and hallucinogenic genres into a sound that they describe as shoegaze metal. Band members include Montclair Highschool scholars Willie Kunstatder (lead guitar), Nick Wagon Leer (drums), Nagee D.C. (rhythm guitar and vocals), and Mt. Hebron student Eli Sofly Zayar (bass).
Tickets for the Chill concert are $10 ahead and $12 at the door. Special guest host will be WDHA-FM D.J. Terrie Carr. All ticket holders will be entered into a drawing to win one three-day weekend pass to the 2012 Fool Holiday in Asbury Park. Colon Cleanse
Colon cleanse has been used for centuries to detoxify the system, bringing health back to the digestive and immune systems. Now, there’s a new reason for using colon cleansing – obesity. The statistics are overwhelming about how we’re mainly a nation of overweight and unhealthy adults, not just because of overeating, but because of what we eat our body systems have become sluggish and toxic.Diet pills and stringent diet plans only make matters worse. Most dieters gain back the weight they lost soon after the plan – and put on a few more pounds besides. When dieters begin a weight loss plan, they usually want quick results without starving themselves, but most diets work by “deprivation,” which means that we quickly tire of it.
When your digestive system is working properly, there’s no need to deprive yourself of the foods you want. Of course, you don’t want to overdo it by eating lots of sugar and carbohydrates that will only clog your system more. When you use colon cleanse on a regular basis to adjust your immune and digestive system, you’ll eventually restore it to a normal state of being – and eating foods that are healthy for you will keep it that way.
Constipation is a way of life for some people, and when it occurs we usually reach for a quick fix like a laxative pill that makes our systems even more toxic. A complete cleansing of the colon, however, reaches the core problem of the constipation – cleansing our system of the bacteria that caused the problem in the first place and letting the colon start over with a “clean slate.”
